"Woodworks by Wayne" is the end result of choosing a method of easing into retirement mode by myself: Wayne Moore. After growing up in the Adirondack Mountains of Northern New York, at the age of 17, I decided to enter The US Air Force. Retiring twenty six years later, I became a granite stone mason, and later carpentry and renovation became skills added to the mix. Today, at age 64, the long term goal of completing a woodworking shop is a reality and it is in this shop that I find the satisfaction to design and produce one-of-a-kind projects, as well as more conventional items. Recently, custom framing has been added to the shop output. Walnut is a favorite wood used in many of my frame projects. I appreciate your interest in my work!
